Earth Hour is a symbolic global lights-out event that began in 2007 in Sydney. Organised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the event encourages people around the world to switch off their lights as to call attention to climate change. Each year, Earth Hour has gained more awareness and sparked public interest in protecting the environment.

The event is held every year on the last Saturday of March, this year it lands on the 28th of March. As  a slow fashion brand committed to sustainable practices we want to show our support and invite you to join in on the event too.

We’re inviting you to switch of your lights between 8:30 and 9:30pm on Sunday 28th March and light a candle to bring awareness to the event.

Earth Hour is also taking the event online this year with their first ever 'Earth Hour Virtual Spotlight' where they will be posting a much-watch video highlighting important environmental issues in a new light. Be sure to follow @EarthHourOfficial on Instagram and share the video to your friends, family and followers to bring more awareness to the event and the message!
