The Meadow Cushion is truly that: from the beginning of creating the design by Shakera, to weaving the linen in Italy, then delicately hand embroidered by a gifted artisan in Italy. To complete each cushion, twisted silk cord was sourced from France and buttons from Nottingham to finally sew together each piece by a skilled seamstresses in London. Each stage of creation has been carefully put together to truly create a product that is absolutely wonderful.
The design itself is a glorious montage of poppies, butterfly blue flowers, vetches, catmint and fern. Inspired by her pictureseque garden when she lived in the english countryside, The Meadow is a love letter to that past life and a journey of design and craft, when only the best is prioritised. We hope you enjoy this cushion as much as we enjoyed bringing them into creation.

This cushion material has been carefully created in Como, Italy. In the hands of the finest textile craftsmen in the world, our materials are produced in the most environmentally friendly way possible. To achieve this we only use 100% natural fibres, non toxic dyes and innovative and traditional printing methods to minimise environmental damage.
