The Meadow Cushion is truly that: from the beginning of creating the design by Shakera, to weaving the linen in Italy, then delicately hand embroidered by a gifted artisan in Italy. To complete each cushion, twisted silk cord was sourced from France and buttons from Nottingham to finally sew together each piece by a skilled seamstresses in London. Each stage of creation has been carefully put together to truly create a product that is absolutely wonderful.
The design itself is a glorious montage of poppies, butterfly blue flowers, vetches, catmint and fern. Inspired by her pictureseque garden when she lived in the english countryside, The Meadow is a love letter to that past life and a journey of design and craft, when only the best is prioritised.
